The ability to see your doctor from your home and get an in-real-time consultation regarding any number of issues. What if you could see your doctor and discuss whether coming into the office was even necessary. Maybe your doctor could examine you from the virtual world and then administer prescriptions or other necessary medical treatment courses. How much time would that save you for doing other things? This is more far reaching than just Tele-health visits though. As Doctors or Specialists, you could film procedures that you perform, where someone could walk around you during the procedure in a 360-degree view. The ability to see up-close as the procedure is happening from different angles makes for an effective teaching tool for students and other medical professionals alike. The Firm(s) that take up office space in the Metaverse will be getting in early on the very limited number of actual firms that are ready to tackle such a venture. You will literally be helping to shape how the legal side of business is done in this new world.

This is a topic that we here at Shiba Land had discussed early on. We looked at all the different ways this field could really impact the lives of so many who just don’t have the access to these types of services due to financial or mobility issues. We also considered extenuating circumstances and pressures such as social anxiety issues, embarrassment issues or physical issues that prevents so many from ever receiving these types of services. What if someone could speak to any number of Therapists or Counselors but with the ability to create an avatar, so as to ease the anxiety of being “seen” in real life, offering the patient a layer of anonymity they cannot get anywhere else. The benefit of these types of services in the Metaverse would offer hope and accessibility, to not just a few who reside in geographic locations that may offer these types of services, but to the world. This is a real game changer in treating mental health challenges and how we make it more accessible to everyone who wants it.

Another industry of extreme interest to us here at Shiba Land is the entertainment industry. We see this as the new frontier in how we consume art, music, comedy and theater. Imagine going into the entertainment district in Shiba Land and being able to access an art show where not only can you appreciate the art up close but purchase it and have it hung in your virtual home or delivered to your home in real life. What about going to see a concert with your favorite performers in an interactive environment where you and millions of others are there together.
